How to customize your survey theme: colors, logo, and branding

A survey with your brand's logo, colors, and font builds more trust than one with the generic look of whatever tool you used to build it. In SurvIQ this is done from the theme editor, with no code and no designer required.

How to open the theme editor

Inside any survey, in the builder, click the "···" (More options) button in the top bar and pick "Theme" from the menu that opens. That same menu is also the entry point for exam mode, page layout, and lead field settings.

Pick a ready-made palette, or your own

The theme editor ships with several ready-made themes (violet, ocean, forest, sunset, midnight, coral) that cover most cases in one click. If your brand has a specific color, the "Primary color" field accepts any hex value and applies it to buttons, progress bars, and highlighted elements throughout the survey.

Logo, font, and card style

Beyond color, you can upload your logo (shown in the survey header), pick a font from a curated list, and choose between rounded or square card corners to match your brand's visual style.

A live preview, not a mockup

The right-hand panel in the editor isn't a sample image: it's your actual survey, with your actual questions, rendered at a smaller scale with the theme applied. What you see there is exactly what the person answering will see, so there's no need to publish just to confirm the design looks right.

Removing the "Made with SurvIQ" watermark

On the Free plan, surveys show a small watermark with the SurvIQ logo in the header, unless you upload your own logo. From the Basic plan onward, that watermark disappears entirely, even without a custom logo: the survey looks 100% like yours, with no reference to the tool you used to build it.

The theme applies across every distribution channel

Once saved, the theme applies automatically no matter how someone reaches the survey: direct link, QR code, or email. There's no need to configure it separately for each channel.
