How to use SurvIQ with Claude: create and analyze surveys in a conversation

SurvIQ has a connector for Claude. With it you can ask Claude to create a survey in your account, publish it and analyze the responses: summaries, recurring themes in comments, comparisons between groups and charts. Claude only sees the surveys in your account and those an organization shares with you.

How to connect it

• In Claude, open Settings > Connectors and choose "Add custom connector".
• Name it SurvIQ and paste the URL https://surviqapp.com/api/mcp.
• Click Connect. SurvIQ opens: sign in (or create your free account) and allow access.
• Choose which tools Claude can use without asking. We recommend always allowing the read-only ones and having it ask before it creates, edits, publishes or closes.

What you can ask

• Create surveys: "Create a satisfaction survey for my restaurant with an NPS question and an open one". It works with every SurvIQ question type, including ranking, grids, point distribution, quizzes with correct answers and weekly schedule.
• Availability: "I need to know which days and times my students can come". Claude builds a weekly-schedule question and later tells you which time slots work for most people.
• Publish and share: "Publish it". Claude gives you the link to share by WhatsApp, email or QR code.
• Analyze: "What conclusions do you draw from my survey?", "Compare satisfaction by location", "Summarize the comments in 5 themes", "Chart the NPS by month".
• Edit: change texts, options or correct answers, add questions at the end, or pause and close a survey.

Connector tools

• list_surveys: lists your surveys with their status and number of responses (read-only).
• get_survey: shows a survey's questions (read-only).
• get_survey_results: summary with percentages, averages, NPS, grids and the most marked time slots (read-only).
• get_survey_responses: individual responses in pages, for cross-tabs and text analysis (read-only).
• create_survey: creates a survey as a draft.
• update_survey: edits an existing survey.
• publish_survey: publishes a survey and returns its link.
• pause_or_close_survey: pauses or finishes a survey.

Privacy and limits

The connector uses your SurvIQ session with the same permissions and plan limits as the website. It never returns respondents' emails or phone numbers. To avoid deleting data by mistake, Claude can't remove questions that already have answers or change their options: you do that in the SurvIQ editor. You can disconnect it anytime from Claude's connectors. More details in our privacy policy, section "AI assistants".
